Re: Puya care
Linda, They do seem to grow quite quickly, or should, maybe if your potted plants had a saucer or some sort of container filled permanently with water under them this will help. I am not sure whether you spotted my fastest seedling thread which maybe of interest.

Re: Puya care
Hi, Kevin. Thanks for sharing the "monster" litoralis seedling. I had seen your photo before and was amazed. You spoke of an airing cupboard. I searched the web for a description. I'm not sure I would need one here in Arizona because lack of heat is rarely a problem. Moisture is our challenge. My little 2 inch seedling is in a plastic pot with a clay saucer under it and the clay saucer sits in water, so remains damp all the time. I cover this with a clear plastic dome. I water every day and mist several times a day. The whole set-up is on my kitchen counter, which gets full morning sun. The temp. would be fairly constant at about 77 degress. Sound okay to you? Linda

Re: Puya care
Sounds ok to me Linda best of luck......an airing cupboard is where we get our hot water from its a large cylinder full of hot water, in a cupboard, warmed by our boiler thus is stays very warm and is a good place for germinating seeds.
