My Banana boat harvest..
There is it- one had burst open already on the stalk. I think its NamWah or Ice Cream or a hybrid. Compare to store bought Chiquita's.

Are they tasty Stan? Looks like you're having banana for breakfast, lunch and diner for the coming few weeks!

Re: My Banana boat harvest..
The first were good Thur. Sort of apply flavored. The majority are still ripening. I saw these small banana's for sale at the local market. 3 or 4 times the cost of the regular Chiquita's. So far of all the tropical home grown fruits I've tried,Mango wins hands down over store bought. It does well in containers for those with sunrooms or greenhouses in colder climates. I left out Avocado's and citrus and Sapotes since they are known as more subtropical. I did have very sweet Pineapples grown indoors by a sunny window.
