Garry your Solanum pyracanthum does look very spiky but for me I would go with Aralia bipinnata another nice Solanum George

Quite nice so far folks 8) , but there's nothing more lethal than Ilex aquifolium 'Ferox argentea'. Not quite exotic I must admit.

No pics from my side either, since I fear, I won't survive taking a shot, not even with a tele lens. 8)

The gardener must tread carefully - this one self-sows, and even the wee-est babes will nip yer toes :shock:
(IMO, the common name Alligator Acanthus is rightly earned).

I won't plant any of those near a garden path, that's for sure. Mahonia's aren't that nice for some unprotected bodyparts as well.
